Professor de Direitos Humanos e Coordenador do Centro de Justiça e Sociedade (CJUS) da FGV Direito Rio. Integra o Conselho Fiscal do Instituto Alziras, o Conselho Consultivo do Observatório Social do Brasil (Rio de Janeiro) e o Conselho Editorial da FGV Direito Rio. Doutorando e LL.M em Direito Público e Direitos Humanos pela University College London (UCL), especialista em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB) e graduado em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). Foi visiting researcher no European University Institute (EUI), visiting scholar no Minerva Center for Human Rights da Hebrew University of Jerusalem e pesquisador do projeto Oxford Reports on International Law in Domestic Courts. Atuou como Diretor da organização Avaaz no Brasil, assessor parlamentar da Liderança do Governo no Senado Federal e assessor jurídico no Ministério da Justiça.

Has served as Director of the Avaaz in Brazil, lehal advisor to the Government Leadership in the Federal Senate and a legal advisor to the Ministry of Justice.
