Cooperation Project between Educational Institutions for the Qualification of Higher Education Professionals (PCI)
The FGV Master's Degree in Law and Regulation is designed to offer an excellent academic experience. Our aim is to contribute to the improvement of national research in the regulatory area, to uphold standards of reference in Brazil and abroad. Awarded a score of 5 by CAPES, the Master's course lasts two years, covering a range of compulsory and elective subjects; supervised activities, research groups; guidance activities, and qualification and submission of a dissertation.
FGV Rio Law, promoting the PCI, in accordance with article 3 of Ordinance No. 120, of June 26, 2023, of CAPES, aims to:
- prepare Master’s and PhD students, removed from established teaching and research methodologies and centers, but with the same levels of quality;
- subsidize the creation of new postgraduate programs to reduce regional asymmetries;
- assist in consolidating research groups;
- qualify professionals to thrive in the job market;
- meet the social, professional, technical and technological demands of public or private organizations;
- contribute to increasing the productivity and competitiveness of national organizations;
- promote cooperation between academic and/or non-academic institutions.
- promote the reduction of social inequalities and the inclusion of disadvantaged groups by expanding access to postgraduate studies.
