Doctor of Law from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, with a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and obtained the highest score (summa cum laude) in the evaluation of the dissertation and in the Rigorosum. He is also a Doctor and Master in Public Law from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (State University of Rio de Janeiro). He completed a post-PhD internship as a visiting researcher at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. Coordinator of the Degree Graduate Program (Stricto Sensu), and permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program (Stricto Sensu) in Law and Regulation at FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School. Professor of the undergraduate program at FGV Rio de Janeiro Law School. He develops research in the areas of theory and philosophy of Law and Constitutional Law.
