GRADUTE PROGRAM

Impact actions

The social, economic and cultural relevance and impact of research and other activities developed in the Program consolidate the key role FGV Rio Law plays in debates at a national level. The PPGD is concerned with research and academic production which impacts, theoretically and empirically, the evolution and dissemination of knowledge and helps address issues specific to the Brazilian reality.

Focussed on the collection and presentation of data relevant to the functioning of Brazilian institutions, research students and professors actively contribute to the evaluation and reorientation of institutional policy. The broad social, economic and cultural impact of the Program is demonstrated by a range of activities and outcomes, shown below.

  • Civic representation;
  • Participation in social advisory boards and committees;
  • Opinion articles and liaison with the press; and
  • Extension activities.
