On November 29th, FGV Rio Law, through its Office of International Affairs and Global Cooperation, had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Ghent University to sign an international agreement between the two institutions.
FGV Rio Law was represented by the Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Global Cooperation, Professor Dario Buschor, and Professor Filipe Medon. The Ghent University delegation included Rector Rik Van de Walle, Barbara Claeys (Policy Advisor for Internationalization), and Professor Allan Souza Queiroz.
The agreement, signed at FGV’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, encompasses several areas of collaboration, including student and staff mobility, the development of joint academic programs and courses, the exchange of documentation and pedagogical resources, and opportunities for research within the framework of master’s theses.
Following the signing ceremony, Professors Dario Buschor and Filipe Medon introduced the delegation to the new FGV Rio Law Global School Project. This initiative aims to further integrate FGV Rio Law into the global landscape of legal education by establishing partnerships with leading international institutions and fostering research, as well as scientific and technological advancements in the field of law.
