FGV Rio Law strengthens partnership with the University of Antwerp

On August 4th, FGV Rio Law, through its Office of International Affairs and Global Cooperation, had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the University of Antwerp.

The delegation included Professor Esther van Zimmeren, Coordinator of the GOVTRUST Centre of Excellence at the University of Antwerp, and PhD Researchers from the Faculty of Law, Daanish Naithani and Felipe de Andrade. FGV Rio Law was represented by Professor Luca Belli, Director of the FGV Rio Law Center for Technology and Society (CTS-FGV), Professor Filipe Medon, Researcher at the FGV Rio Law Center for Technology and Society (CTS-FGV), and Professor Dario Buschor, Assistant Dean for International Affairs and Global Cooperation.

Following a cooperation agreement signed last year, aimed at promoting the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers and administrative staff, the delegations met to strengthen the initial partnership and explore the possibility of conducting joint research in AI, Trust, Digital Governance, and IP Law.

FGV Rio Law and the University of Antwerp reaffirmed their commitment to building bridges between their academic communities, fostering mutual learning, and advancing collaborative projects in areas of common interest.
