Pablo Palazzi from the Universidad de San Andres (Argentina) led an illuminating discourse titled "How to Regulate International Data Transfers in Latin America." Palazzi's expertise shed light on the complexities of data transfer regulations in the Latin American context, providing invaluable insights into the region's legal dynamics. Matias Mascitti of the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina) presented an intriguing RegTalk, "El Sistema Jurídico Tecnológico LatAm como una Contramedida Contra la Tendencia Totalizante de los Grandes Sistemas Tecnológicos." His discourse navigated the technological legal system in Latin America, emphasizing its counterbalance against the overpowering nature of large technological systems. Andrew Miller from Yale Law School (USA) captivated the audience with his talk on "Private Class Actions and Public Regulatory Enforcement." Miller's analysis delved into the intersection between private class actions and public regulatory measures, shedding light on their interplay within the legal framework. A collaboration ensued between Wendy Wagner of UT Austin School of Law (USA) and Donald Elliott from Yale Law School (USA). Ana Teresa Ribeiro and Sofia Oliveira Pais from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal) concluded the the 2023 series with a thought-provoking discussion on "Plataformas Digitais: Interseção do Direito da Regulação, Direito da Concorrência e do Direito do Trabalho."
