Péricles Gonçalves is a law professor at FGV Rio Law, where he also serves as Institutional Projects Coordinator, Executive Coordinator of the Regulation in Numbers project and Executive Coordinator of the Research Collectives. He holds a PhD and a master’s degree in Law and Regulation from FGV Rio Law. He was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School (2022-2023) and a Visiting Scholar at the University of California Irvine School of Law (2018). He holds a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member at FGV Rio Law, Péricles practised law in both the public and the private sectors.
